Vape Coils Guide UK

Learn how to choose compatible vape coils and pods, when to replace your coil, and how to avoid burnt taste or leaking issues.

Vape Coils, Pods and Compatibility

Vape coils are the replaceable heating parts inside many vape tanks and pods. Choosing the right coil matters because each coil is designed for specific devices, wattage ranges and e-liquid types.

Vape Saloon stocks replacement coils, pods, pod kits, tanks and e-liquids for UK customers. If you are unsure which coil fits your device, check your tank or pod name carefully before ordering.

How Often Should You Change a Vape Coil?

Most coils need replacing when flavour drops, vapour reduces, the coil tastes burnt, or the device starts leaking despite being assembled correctly. Many users change coils every one to two weeks, but this depends on usage, wattage and e-liquid sweetness.

Prime new coils before use by letting e-liquid soak into the cotton. Starting at the lower end of the recommended wattage range can also help prevent burnt hits.

Vape Coil FAQs

How do I know which coil I need?

Check the exact device, tank or pod name and match it to the compatible coil range. Coils are not universal, even when they look similar.

Why does my vape taste burnt?

A burnt taste can happen when the coil is old, not primed properly, used at too high a wattage, or the tank has too little e-liquid. Replace the coil if the burnt taste does not improve.

Can I use nic salts with any coil?

Nic salts are usually best with lower-powered mouth-to-lung pod kits and compatible coils. They are not usually suited to high-powered sub-ohm coils.

Can Vape Saloon help me find the right coil?

Yes. Contact us online or visit our Southport shop with your device or tank name and we can help identify compatible coils or pods.
