Endura T22 Not Producing Vapour? Troubleshooting Guide

If your original Innokin Endura T22 is producing little or no vapour, start with the simple checks below. Switch it off and let the tank cool before handling it. This guide is for the original T22; the T22 Pro has different controls.

1. Check the battery

Make sure the device is switched on and charged. The original T22 has a built-in battery and charges through Micro USB. If the charging light does not respond, try a different suitable cable and inspect the port for visible debris. Stop using the device if it is damaged or becomes unusually hot.

2. Check the tank connection

Switch the device off, remove the tank and check that the contact points are clean and dry. Gently wipe away visible e-liquid or dust with a dry, lint-free cloth, then reconnect the tank without overtightening it. Do not dismantle the battery.

3. Replace a worn coil

A spent or burnt coil can cause weak flavour, a burnt taste or no vapour. Check that the coil is fitted correctly. If it has reached the end of its life, replace it with a coil compatible with your Endura T22 tank. Washing a used coil is not a reliable substitute for replacement. The original T22 is designed around a 1.5Ω coil at 14W, so there is no wattage or temperature setting to adjust on this model.

4. Refill and prime correctly

Follow the tank's filling instructions and keep e-liquid out of the centre airflow tube. When fitting a new coil, moisten its exposed wick with e-liquid, fill the tank and allow the wick to saturate before use. Innokin recommends waiting at least 15 minutes after filling a newly primed coil. Keep enough liquid in the tank to cover the wick openings.

Still no vapour?

If charging, cleaning the connection and fitting a fresh compatible coil do not solve the problem, stop using the device and ask our Southport team or Innokin support for help. Tell us what the indicator light does when you press the button and which coil you have fitted.
